The annual Splashy Fen music festival celebrated it’s 35th anniversary this year and once again brought together over 8000 people to the beauty of the berg.
The very hot days saw festival goers flock to the River Stage for a mix of sun, swimming, music and festivities, while the afternoons consisted of more music and fun at the Acoustic, and Tree House stage while evenings were spent at the Main stage, House of Funk and Electric Boma. The festival once again had something for everyone from flea market stalls, colourful parades and characters, drumming circles, yoga, painting and competitions.
The artist line up was well met by audiences and included the likes of Good Luck, Gold Fish, Jesse Clegg, Van Pletzen, Jeremy Loops and the Ndlovu Youth Choir. The younger attendees enjoyed activities at the kids zone as well as a visit by the Easter Bunny and Oros man. Another beautiful Easter weekend in the berg.
