The 2026 Mt Currie Farmers Association Golf Day in association with Agri Business was hosted on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
The Mount Currie Farmers’ Golf Day is an exciting event that brings together local businesses, community members, our valued farmers and golf enthusiasts for a day of fun and networking. Proceeds from the MCFA Golf Day are allocated towards the operational and maintenance costs of the Kokstad area’s camera network, which plays a vital role in enhancing the safety and security of our community.
There was a total of 23 sponsored teams this year (92 golfers on the course) and great weather. Golfers also enjoyed some sponsored drinks and snacks and lunch.

Closest to the pin on the 12th Hole – Ladies: Lucky draw winner Belinda Gallino. Closest to the pin on the 16th Hole winner: Rhett Hudson. Longest Drive on the 10th Hole winner: Joobie Craig. Longest Drive on the 4th Hole – Ladies – winner: Glynis Westerdale. Closest for 2 on the 18th – winner: Joobie Craig.
Team prizes: winners were Kokstad Bagged Products, followed by Cedarville Farmers and Farmers Agricare (2nd), Omnia & Skybound Capital (3rd), MMG Ford Kokstad (4th), Pioneer (5th), TWK (6th), Dorning Group (7th) and Build It (8th).
MCFA auctioned off a holiday SPONSORED BY BEKKER INVESTMENTS to Sunset Lodge, Barra in Mozambique (10nights for 8people) final bid going to Ethan Reay. Also thank you to FLA (Brendan Blore) for conducting the auction.
