The Kokstad first and second rugby teams are currently top of their respective league logs following a strong victory against Ballito on home grounds on Saturday.
The second team managed to win their match with a final score of 41 to 12, scoring eight tries. Man of the match was Nondulo Ntandaso (forwards) and Junaid Ahmed (backline). They are currently topping the log with 9 points followed by Maritzburg Rugby Club in second on 6 points.
The first team also claimed victory with a final score of 24 to 7 with three tries scored. Man of the match was Dyllan Steady, AKA ‘Langman’ (forwards) and Ruan Fortiun (backline). The first team are also currently topping the league log with a score of 9, followed by South Coast Warriors in second place with 6 points.
No home games are scheduled for May with the Kokstad Blacks travelling to play against Amanzimtoti, Hluhluwe (to be played in Durban) and South Coast Warriors. The first home game is set to take place on 6 June against Maritzburg Rugby Club.
