Bishop of the Kokstad Diocese, Bishop Thulani Victor Mbuyisa recently travelled to Europe to preside over the Priestly Ordination of two Missionaries of Mariannhill: Frater Chika Kingsley Obiekwe CMM and Frater Evans Wesonga Ogola CMM.
The Ordination Mass took place on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mariannhill’s Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Würzburg, Germany. Bishop Mbuyisa was invited as the Ordaining Prelate by the Congregation of the Missionaries of Mariannhill, where he previously served as Superior General before his appointment as Bishop of Kokstad.
The Diocese of Kokstad joins the Missionaries of Mariannhill in praying for the ordinands as they dedicate their lives to the service of God and His Church. May the Lord strengthen them with the grace of the Holy Spirit, granting them faithful and fruitful priestly ministry in the vineyard of Christ.
