The Easter weekend saw the second annual Greater Kokstad Municipal Easter Tournament with the third and final day, Monday, marking a thrilling and memorable conclusion the tournament.
In his closing remarks, Mayor Cllr L. Madikizela acknowledged the urgent need to improve sports facilities in Kokstad. He further announced that the Municipality has engaged with the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), and a R10 million funding allocation has been secured to upgrade GKM sports facilities—an important step towards investing in the future of local sport.
