The Johannes Phumani Phungula Local Municipality has urged vigilance from the community after a large snake, resembling a black mamba was reportedly seen last week under the bridge at R56 on the crossing road between Morningside and Morningview.
Residents have been urged to be careful and to stay away from the snake if seen. Assistance is being sought from professional snake catchers to relocate the animal.
