Grade 7 Entrepreneurs’ Day
Our Grade 7 learners showed that they have a real flair for business during Entrepreneurs’ Day on 26 August! As part of their EMS assignment, the Grade 7’s went all out, transforming their ideas into creative businesses and products. It was fantastic to see our Grade 7’s stepping outside their comfort zones, thinking creatively and putting their classroom learning into action. A huge congratulations to our budding entrepreneurs — what a fantastic day!
KZNCSSA Athletics Championships
On 28 and 29 August, 108 KEHS athletes represented South Durban at the KZNCSSA Provincial Athletics Championship, held at the Msunduzi Athletic Stadium in Pietermaritzburg. Our athletes rose to the occasion and competed with determination. Their hard work paid off with a phenomenal 69 medals: 20 gold, 25 silver and 24 bronze. A very special congratulations goes to Leah da Silva, who produced a remarkable performance in the U12 Girls’ Javelin. Leah threw an impressive 26.46 metres, setting a new championship record! Congratulations to each and every one of our athletes who competed over the weekend. Whether you brought home a medal or simply gave your very best, you represented KEHS and South Durban with pride.
