What an incredible event! With 361 anglers and an amazing 87 sponsors, this year’s Harding Bass Compo truly exceeded all expectations.
In first place was Keegan Petersen from Kokstad, landing an impressive 60cm bass at Big Bend Dam. Keegan takes home a Tigerfish 10 boat, complete with swivel chairs and a sneaker motor! In second place was Scott Bouverie with a solid 56cm bass and in third place was Neels Bruwer, close behind with a 54cm bass. Longest Catch for the ladies and last years’ overall winner, was Jocelyn Dormehl with a fantastic 53cm bass. Junior winner with a bass of 45cm was Marley Speakman.
Across the competition, competitors fished ten dams, each producing both an adult and
junior winner, showcasing the depth of talent across all ages. The competition organisers are incredibly grateful to every angler who took part and to all 87 sponsors whose support made this event possible. The Harding community continues to grow from strength to strength — thank you all!
